Ayurvedic Cooking For Vata Dosha (Lunch Included)
The class will specifically address Vata, the most subtle of the dosha trio, but the techniques can be applied to Pitta and Kapha too. Our climate brings dry weather which can increase Vata dosha - excess Vata causes aging and debility. Find out more about the qualities of Vata and how we can bring balance to the body by choosing smart food combinations. Learn to prepare staples of an Indian meal made specifically to pacify Vata.

Ayurvedic Health Counselor Program in Denver
This program is designed to meet the National Ayurveda Medical Association (NAMA) Ayurveda Health Counselor standards. Classes are held in the evening and during weekends so you can keep your day job. This is a 1000 hours training which puts you ahead in your Ayurvedic education including 150 hours of clinical encounters combined with case reviews - you receive the experience necessary to develop confidence and proper understanding in order to develop your practice or continue your studies as Ayurvedic Practitioner and Doctor. 
WHEN: October 5,20107 - February 2, 2019. Class times on Wednesday + Thursdays from 6-9pm + 1 weekend a month (Fri 6-9 pm + Sat/Sun 9am-6pm)

Foundations of Ayurveda in Denver
Learn the basics of Ayurveda including knowing about your body-mind type, VPK, current imbalances, three gunas, proper self-care, ayurvedic nutrition and cooking, spices, herbs, ayurvedic yoga, mantras, pranayama, meditation, yoga nidra, ayurvedic anatomy, panchakarma, yogic cleansing, rejuvenation, pulse reading, tongue/nail/face/urine analysis, signs and symptoms of health and disease, prana, tejas, ojas, and marma therapy (the use of ayurvedic pressure points for self-healing). This is a pre-requisite for the Ayurveda Health Counselor Certificate Training.
